We had previously run the Touch-type Read and Spell course within a local authority and found it really inspires confidence. In our most recent course, we worked with 9 unemployed adults, some of whom had learning difficulties.
Our students explained they enjoyed themselves while learning on the TTRS course and acquired the skill of touch-typing at the same time. Many of the learners felt it was something they would add to their CVs and that having the skill of keyboarding would be useful in future job searches.

They felt TTRS taught them not to be afraid of computers. They also said learning typing with TTRS made them more confident to tackle future computer courses and make use of online learning platforms.
