Join the British Dyslexia Association and Touch-type Read and Spell in supporting literacy skills development and raising awareness for dyslexia in UK schools.
Many students in primary and secondary schools across the UK receive access to computers and tablets as part of their IEP plan. However, without typing skills, these devices are not always fully accessible.
TTRS is a multi-sensory typing course that supports learners with dyslexia, ADD/ADHD, ASD, dysgraphia, dyspraxia, and those students who have a history of educational failure, in learning typing and improving literacy skills. It is appropriate for learners in Key Stages 1, 2, and 3. The course is accessed online, and students can use it both at school and at home.
TTRS teaches typing using a program of phonics and sight words. It is self-paced and designed to build confidence in learners through a gentle and step-by-step approach. In addition to English typing modules, there are also core subject modules featuring Maths Facts and Science vocabulary.
Touch-type Read and Spell, in partnership with the British Dyslexia Association, is sponsoring 5 student places in eligible UK schools from now until the 8th July 2019. Claim your free subscription today!
