Frequently asked questions

Do I need to have certain teaching qualifications to offer the TTRS course? Ideally you will be a trained teacher or tutor. However, we understand that every tutor is different which is why we approve each application individually.

How many students do you recommend in a group class and what equipment do I need? We suggest no more than one teacher to every 10 students. As TTRS is an online course, you will need Internet access and each student should have a computer, keyboard, and headphones.

How often should group classes take place? We recommend running a 1 hour-long session once a week. Intensive courses may run for 1-2 weeks with daily sessions.

How does the billing work? Subscriptions for tutors include an annual license fee plus a percentage of revenue. Speak to a member of the TTRS team to learn more.

Are there any restrictions for tutor centers? If you are a tutoring group with multiple centers/offices, you will need a separate TTRS subscription for each site.

Can I refer TTRS to my students without paying a fee? Yes! We especially encourage tutors who are not using the course in their sessions to sign up for a referral code and earn commission on home subscriptions purchased by their students.
