Good keyboard skills promote independence, confidence and opens up the possibility of achievement in other areas of your life. While you find writing a chore, being able to think and type will allow you to present your schoolwork in a clear and confident manner.

Kyu Kyu has completed the course in less than 3 months.  This is Bolton College's fastest completion ever!  Kyu has worked very hard. When she started TTRS she couldn't type at all and thought that she wouldn't get the hang of it. She has really excelled and worked conscientiously, even looking up words that she didn't understand and done it all with a smile.  Congratulations Kyu!

Terrific work from Desmond, completing the TTRS programme in the space of 9 months. This skill will be of great benefit to your future studies.

Adam has been a very conscientious, hard-working student. His tenacity in finishing the course to the end really impressed me.He is a lovely mix of diligence and fun and I am delighted he is finally receiving his well-deserved certificate. Congratulations!
 
 

Nadia has worked very hard and completed the course in approximately 4 months, possibly the fastest time that we've ever had. She also works hard in her other classes and I'm sure will have every success on her Business course next year and in her future career.  Well done and good luck Nadia.

Congratulations Conor on completing all 24 Levels of this wonderful course.  Although you were often tired after a long day at school you persevered each week to learn this new skill.   Half way through the course your speed improved and you began to see the light at the end of the tunnel towards your goal of completion.  Accuracy was important to you throughout the course, achieving 100% became your weekly target and when that wasn't possible you scored in the high 90's each time.  

Hard work always yields good results and this success should inspire you as you work towards your Junior Certificate in the coming years.    I wish you every success in the future.  What a wonderful life skill you now have, keep up the hard work and continue to set goals for yourself.

Congratulations Jake on completing our TTRS Course.  It is our absolute pleasure to witness how well Jake has worked over the time he spent with us.  Jake has worked so hard and through sheer determination has completed the course very quickly, while gaining massive spelling improvement and the lifelong skill of touch typing. Huge congratulations to Kayla on completing our Touch-Type-Read and Spell Course.  Kayla was a very young timid girl when she first came to us and left us on completion of the course with her head held high on her wonderful achievement. Kayla has worked consistently hard whilst continually achieving very high scores. Kayla's spelling, reading and writing has improved dramatically and she has gained the lifelong skill of touch-typing. Kayla's new-found confidence and self-esteem and lovely warm personality will stand to her as she continues on with her education and into the future. Taskina originally did TTRS as a compulsory part of her class time on her ESOL course.  At the end of the year she moved to a class that did not include TTRS but sought us out and asked if she could finish the course.  This shows real dedication and she has since worked through many of her college lunch breaks, introduced her sister to TTRS and re-done some modules from last year to improve their scores.  Well Done Taskina.

A huge congratulations to Zachary. He is the first pupil EVER at King's to complete TTRS. In the 8 months since he started on this course he has worked exceptionally hard, both in school and at home, and is now an accomplished typist. What a wonderful achievement.

Alison has shown exemplary dedication, enthusiasm and commitment throughout this course.

Conor Mackey finished the TTRS course today after almost 2.5 years of attending our class in Leixlip Library. A huge congratulations to Conor for his perseverance, commitment and hard work.
We have watched Conor grow from a shy and reluctant student into a confident, young man who will go on to achieve anything he wants to through hard work and determination.
